Arvada is a gorgeous neighborhood: a quiet suburb where you can kick back, relax, and get to know your neighbors in a comfortable environment. Its primary residences are detached homes in various styles, complete with large lots where you can make the most of outdoor living spaces or leave room for the kids to get out and play. Arvada does, however, have a number of condos available. Historic District
Arvada was home to one of the first gold discoveries that began the Gold Rush in the West. It is also known as a historic agricultural hub for celery. In fact, it was once known as the "Celery Capital of the World." Furthermore, it was where the Colorado Central Railroad was developed. Downtown Arvada pays tribute to that rich history, encouraging residents to learn more about the place where they live and take in all those incredible facts about the area.

Like much of the greater Denver area, Arvada is set up to be bikeable. Residents enjoy the fact that Arvada has bike trails leading everywhere from Denver to Golden, making those bike trails the perfect way to get around Arvada itself or to head out to see what else the surrounding area might have to offer. Those gorgeous bike trails are the perfect way to get out and exercise, but they also provide an eco-friendly way to get around downtown.

In downtown Arvada, you'll find an eclectic selection of breweries, including Denver Beer Co. Olde Town Arvada, Odyssey Beerwerks Brewery and Taproom, and New Image Restaurant and Brewery. As you explore downtown Arvada, you'll find many selections to choose from, including specialty cocktails, live music, and food trucks in the surrounding area. These popular local breweries are a great place to check out new flavors and learn more about local residents, and they offer a great place to get together with friends — or, if you've just moved to Arvada, to make some new ones.

Arvada offers a number of dining options perfect for everything from a night out with someone special to the chance to gather around with family and friends. Performers come from multiple disciplines, including dance, concerts, kids' plays, and a host of others.
